gronotes for Linux — License
Usage rights
gronotes is proprietary software by Adrian Grochla (groad). You may install and use the official Linux application for private and business purposes within the Free or Pro limits below. Ownership of the software and trademarks remains with their respective owners. This license does not grant access to the source code.
Free and Pro
Pro can be tested for ten days without payment details. Afterwards, up to ten entries remain free. Existing entries remain readable, editable and exportable. gronotes Pro unlocks unlimited entries through a one-time Stripe purchase of EUR 9.99, with no subscription. The total shown at checkout applies.
Activation and recovery
A Pro license is bound to one Linux installation and is separate from purchases in other stores. Purchase and initial activation require internet access; activated Pro works offline. Keep a backup of the license to restore it after reinstalling the app on the same Linux installation. After reinstalling Linux or changing devices, support restores Pro free of charge after verifying the purchase.
Distribution
Flathub and its distribution mirrors may package and redistribute the official, unmodified Linux binaries, together with the technical files required for Flatpak packaging. Copyright notices and these license terms must be retained. This permission does not authorize selling Pro license keys or modifying the application itself.
Third-party components and statutory rights
Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses and notices supplied with the application. Mandatory statutory rights, including consumer rights, applicable warranty rights and permitted backup copies or interoperability, remain unaffected. These terms do not replace the purchase information provided at checkout.
