Capture and find your thoughts
Organize notes, tasks, ideas and code snippets with tags and eight flag colors. Tasks show due dates and completion; snippets provide line numbers, a language label and copying without numbers.
Shopping lists with an optional store, full item search and reuse of previous groceries. Checked items remain visible for five seconds so you can undo a tap. Recipes include ingredients, preparation, servings, custom categories and a favorite star; send ingredients to a new or existing shopping list. Attach images and files (up to 8 MB per file, 32 MB for the whole notebook including history). Track homework by subject, optional due date and completion. Choose visible sections per device in Settings; hidden entries are preserved. A list or recipe counts as one entry.
Get more from your cloud storage
Use your cloud folder for more than files. With gronotes on other devices and the same compatible storage folder, you can use your notes there too. Your cloud provider handles synchronisation; supported connections vary by platform. No gronotes account is needed. Your notes are not sent to groad.
Work locally and optionally exchange content, revisions and shared settings through a folder you select. Whether a cloud, file or NAS provider can be used depends on the platform and folder access. Web uses import and export. A successful local sync does not confirm delivery through the cloud.
gronotes requires no gronotes account and includes no advertising, analytics or tracking. Note content is not sent to groad. Exports and storage packages are plain text without additional gronotes encryption. Privacy for gronotes
macOS supports local and user-selected folders including iCloud Drive, plus Nextcloud and HTTPS/WebDAV. Direct OneDrive, Google Drive and Dropbox sign-ins are currently available only on iOS. On the Mac, folders managed by installed cloud providers can be selected with the folder picker.
One-time purchase, no subscription
gronotes Pro · Apple (iPhone, iPad, Mac): Ten entries in total are free, including shopping lists, recipes and homework. A whole list or recipe counts as one entry. The Apple one-time purchase for additional entries is configured at €9.99 in the German store. No subscription; the displayed store price applies. Existing content remains editable and exportable above the limit. Restore purchases in Settings using the same Apple account. Restoration across devices has not yet been accepted in testing. Windows and Google Play have separate purchases.
Windows: The Windows app is a one-time Microsoft Store purchase. It has no ten-entry limit and needs no additional in-app purchase. No subscription. The app currently costs €9.99 in the German Microsoft Store. The price shown in the Store at purchase applies. Apple purchases do not automatically apply to Windows.

Availability
Available now for iPhone and iPad in the App Store and for Windows in the Microsoft Store. macOS is in review. The closed Android test is being prepared; Android and Linux are not yet publicly available.
